Marta Dauliūtė is an Intimacy Coordinator with an attentive and empathetic presence, known for creating a grounded sense of safety on set. She is trained through the Intimacy Professionals Association (IPA), Nordic Intimacy Coordinators (NIC) and Intimacy Directors and Coordinators (IDC Level 1 and 2). She holds both an MFA and BA in film directing from Valand Academy and Gothenburg University, and is certified in Mental Health First Aid.
Marta works in a calm, structured and transparent way, especially when it comes to documentation and process management. She builds trust at every level, handles conflicts with clarity and respect, and holds space softly without losing her footing. She is passionate about issues of power and consent, working from a trauma-informed perspective and always aware that every production and team is unique.
Marta’s combination of softness and precision allows her to maintain clear boundaries while supporting actors in their work and staying attentive to the connections that naturally emerge between them. She seeks new and authentic ways to understand and portray intimacy, while creating a safe working environment inspired by nonviolent communication and needs-based frameworks.
With experience as a director and producer, Marta brings a broad understanding of the film workflow. Collaborative by nature, she is committed to a sustainable film field and a working environment that respects our bodies as our primary artistic material.
