Film editor Kristin Grundström is a master of finding the right feelings within the material and creates a unique expression in her editing. Kristin holds the special ability to chisel out complex characters with depth and warmth.Kristin’s editing style is nervy, rhythmical, humoristic and bold. The use of music and sound together with the imagery is essential in pushing the work one step further. She manages to catch and interpret the vision of the director in a attentive and creative way, with the result that many of the films have found their very own voice.Her career started as an assistant to editor Michal Leszczylowski and worked on modern classics like Together (dir. Moodyson) and Kopps (dir. Fares). Leszczylowski later became her professor at the Swedish national film school (Dramatiska Institutet) and after graduating she edited her first feature Zozo, directed by Josef Fares, together with Leszczylowski.Kristin has an incredible width in her editing and both her documentaries as well as her drama features have rendered recognition and success in Sweden and across the globe.
