Frida Wendel is an experienced and skilled cinematographer with a “director’s eye” that never misses a beat. She has a background in still photography and a degree from Stockholm University of the Arts. Over the years, she has perfected her skills by shooting several commercials, promos and acclaimed feature films and drama series. In 2021, Wendel was nominated for a Guldbagge Award for Best Cinematography for her work in feature film Spring Uje Spring (Run Uje Run). Frida is based in Sweden but works internationally. In previous years she’s spent a lot of her time filming in England.
She is a visionary and always strives forward and pushes the limits of her visual storytelling. Fridas visual language is characterized by grand and striking views. Her work ranges from smaller productions like music videos to bigger feature films.
