Erik Molberg Hansen moves effortlessly between genres and always deliver clean, intimate and bombastic photography. He is a highly acclaimed cinematographer with multiple nominations for film awards in Scandinavia.
In 2011, Erik received a Guldbagge Awards nomination for Best Cinematography for his work on Svinalängorna. Before that, his work was nominated for Best Cinematography at Danish Film Awards for feature films En Soap (2006) and Fluerne på væggen (2005). He started his career at National Film School of Denmark, where he studied photography in 1999, and has been active in the film industry ever since.
Erik is working worldwide but currently has his base in Copenhagen and Stockholm. He has worked with directors such as Christian Tafdrup on Speak No Evil, Pernilla August, Birgitte Stærmose, Pernille Fischer Christensen and Brian Percival, to name a few.
