Ellen von Zweigbergk

Film editor Ellen von Zweigbergk has carved a niche for herself in the realms of drama and comedy. Holding a Master's Degree in Fine Arts from Konstfack, her background has given her an unconventional approach to film editing, blending creativity with meticulous attention to detail.

Ellen is known for her independent working process and story-telling skills. Her editing is about crafting a narrative that resonates emotionally, marked by her sense of rhythm. From subtle nuances to comedic timing, her editing adds depth and dimension to every scene. With an ambition to always realize the director's vision while introducing fresh perspectives, she often prefers to be involved from the very start of a project.

Ellen's journey in film began as a video artist, where she discovered her passion and talent for editing, recognizing it as her strongest suit. She then teamed up with renowned film editor Sarah Patient Nicastro on the hit show "Älska Mig" (Love Me) by Josephine Bornebusch. Since then they have worked together on multiple projects such as feature film "Orca" and tv-series "Alla utom vi", "Barracuda Queens" and "Allt och Eva".

Ellen was nominated for an Edith award for the true crime drama Nattryttarna in 2023.
