Production Designer Elin Peedu brilliantly deliver, in an old school way, her visual ideas through detailed hand drawings before she turns her ideas into the psychical reality. She has deep knowledge in graphic design. Her uplifting approach to her work has earned her a reputation as a true artist and collaborator. Elin sees everyone and pushes them to work forward and together as a team.
She started studying production design at the IstitutoEuropeo di Design in Rome, where her passion for scenery and production design really took off. She later moved back to Sweden for further scenery design studies at Malmö University in Malmö and art studies at Nyckelviksskolan in Stockholm. Later, Elin had the opportunity to work as an apprentice to Bengt Fröderberg.
She has a great passion for making beautiful, but yet realistic, set designs. On another note, Elin always finds the right balance between” too messy” and an authentic style.
Creating the right atmosphere is key for her to make an environment as credible as possible. Even on a stormy set, Elin keeps calm and structured and always delivers mind-blowing results, regardless of the project or the location.
