Pelle Magnestam is a highly skilled and imaginative Production Designer with a passion for bringing characters and scenery to life through his designs. He has an excellent eye for the wicked and weathered and his scenography speak for itself. His work has been recognized and awarded with Emmys and Guldbagge nominations, he was nominated for Best Set Design at the Guldbagge Awards in 2015 for his work in Tjuvarnas jul - Trollkarlens dotter.
Magnestam’s fascination for the filmmaking process started in his teens, and he later decided to attend Gothenburg Film School to become a film photographer. He possesses an incredible imagination, constantly coming up with new and innovative ideas for his designs. He has created all the costumes for the Swedish version of TV show Masked Singer.
With significant experience in 3D sketches, both analog and digital, he always manages to deliver unique models and constructions. Pelle always embraces the abstract in every project, he’s fond of original adventures and imaginative environments that contribute to storytelling.
